WHERE IS JANESVILLE SELF STORAGE LOCATED?
Our facility is located at 464-900 Main St in Janesville, CA.
HOW DO I RENT A UNIT?
This is not a staffed location. To rent a unit or if you have additional questions, give us a call at (530) 253-2233 - 8AM-5PM daily. We are always glad to assist you with your self storage needs! Cash and Checks are accepted.
WHAT ARE YOUR ACCESS HOURS?
You can access your self storage unit from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily.
WHAT ARE YOUR SECURITY FEATURES?
This is one of the most common questions for people using a self storage facility—and rightfully so! To keep your belongings safe and secure at Janesville Self Storage, our property features perimeter fencing, gated entry, and security cameras.
WHAT IS DRIVE-UP ACCESS?
All of our units are on concrete slabs with the ability to drive your vehicle right up to your unit to load or unload your belongings. There are no steps to climb or elevators to wait on. It makes using our facility quick and easy!
HOW DOES THE GATED ENTRY WORK?
The gated entry system is a recently added security measure at Janesville Self Storage. Each tenant will receive one entry card that is scanned at the entrance, triggering the gate to open. If you lose your access card there is a $10/card charge for replacement.
CAN I HAVE MORE THAN ONE ACCESS CARD?
Yes, each additional entry card costs $10. There is a two card maximum per tenant. Each tenant will receive one card when they rent a unit. If you have two or more units, you will receive two cards.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
Yes, our security deposits vary depending on the unit:
5x10 & 10x10 – $30
10x15 – $35
10x20 – $45
10x25 – $55
Deposit is refunded providing tenant gives 7-day moveout notice, unit is emptied, swept clean and inspected for damage.
HOW MUCH IS THE FIRST MONTH CHARGE?
We utilize a prorating system for your first month's payment. So for your first month's payment, you will only be charged from the date you rent a unit to the last day of that first month.
DO WE USE OUR OWN LOCK ON THE UNIT?
For security reasons, we require a disc style lock on every unit. We can supply a disc lock for a $10.00 refundable deposit or you can supply your own disc lock.
ARE MY STORED PERSONAL ITEMS COVERED BY INSURANCE?
We do not insure your stored personal items. Check with your homeowners or renters insurance agent to find out if your stored personal items are covered.
